RedRock has been employed to provide advanced security systems for Santa Clarita, CA-based College of the Canyons. The school, which enrolls nearly 20,000 students, has hired RedRock to design, install and program a $1MM campus-wide access control and integrated lockdown system.
The system will secure 22 separate campus buildings with 366 wireless Schlage locks and 37 Vanderbilt access control panels. RedRock, which has previously deployed security solutions for College of the Desert, Saddleback Community College, and Glendale Community College, continues to expand its presence in the educational marketplace with this latest project.
“We’re excited to be working with College Of the Canyons," said RedRock Service Manager Tomas Jacoban. “There are few companies able to provide lockdown systems specifically for schools and fewer still with the experience and reputation RedRock has in this market."
It is an unfortunate reality that today's campuses require increasingly more sophisticated security systems to ensure the safety of students and personnel. RedRock, a certified Vanderbilt Industries dealer, has secured multiple school site locations and classrooms ranging from K-12 all the way to college campuses.
