RedRock continued to grow two of its primary service segments in the second quarter of 2019 with new DAS/ERRCS and Security projects.
Adding to a growing roster of clients in the Silicon Valley, RedRock was awarded the implementation of a new public safety ERRCS for the Westfield Valley Fair Mall In Santa Clara. The design includes a complete retrofit of the mall so that first responders can effectively communicate with their dispatcher while on the property.
As reported by The Silicon Valley Business Journal, a billion dollar remodel of the shopping center, when complete, will total 2.2 million square feet of retail space anchored by premier retailers such as Apple, Bloomingdale's, Jimmy Choo and John Varvatos.
Meanwhile, in Southern California, RedRock is supplying Saddleback College in Mission Viejo with a campus-wide access control implementation. This project includes installing access control on approximately 1,000 existing doors on campus. Upon completion of this project, the campus police department will have the ability to lock the campus down with the single click of a button.
RedRock has already designed and installed security apparatus for a multitude of learning institutions ranging from Redlands and Alvord unified school districts to UCLA and California State University San Bernadino.
"As evidenced by these new 2nd quarter projects, DAS/ERRCS and Security continue to be two of our most dynamic sectors," says RedRock Partner/Vice President Randy Jara. "Fortunately, our expertise in both of these areas intersects perfectly with the growing demand for seasoned and proven service providers."
