In 1985, Randy graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a degree in Business Administration. He began his career in the security industry at API Alarm Systems. Over an 8 year period in his career, he rose through the ranks from Sales to Vice President of Sales. In 1993, API was purchased by Tyco - ADT at which point Randy became the General Manager in charge of a $30M division. 

In 1997 he started the Security Division at Universal Protection Systems. Randy joined the Redrock team in 2008 as the Vice President.
